The Process
Step 1 As a beginning travel agent, you will work in teams of two. One team member will be the recorder and the other team member will be the researcher. The next day you will change responsibilities. The researcher is responsible for working the mouse and deciding where to go. The recorder is responsible for writing down any information the team will need. Decide who will be the researcher and who will be the recorder now.
Step 2 You will create your landforms passport. On your passport you will include 15 different types of landforms, with a picture and a definition for each one. You will also include at least one place on earth where your landform is located.
Click on the external image greennotepadicon.gif to see an example of what information to include in your passport and what it could look like. You may choose to create your passport in Microsoft Word, Inspiration, or Power Point.

Step 5 Now that you know about many different landforms, choose the BEST one. This is the one you want to recommend to travelers. Click brochure to see what information you will need to include. (You will need to include this same information if you choose to create a video)
Step 6 Option 1: Create your brochure in Microsoft Word using the brochure template or in Publisher. Option 2: Create a video using Windows Movie Maker.
Step 7 Check the evaluation page to be sure you have everything completed and it looks great for presentation.
Step 8 Edit your brochure or movie. Save your work to the server in your folder.
Step 9 Practice your presentation. What are you going to say to convince them to choose your landform? Remember, they can read your brochure, so don't just read it. Make your presentation as exciting as your brochure. If you chose a video, everything should be included within your video.
Step 10** Schedule an appointment to make your presentation.
GOOD JOB!
